One of the Grandmas who were residing in the House of Sharing has passed away on Feb 14 (local time), leaving the number of survivors who have registered with the South Korean government to 30.

Her identity and funeral schedules will remain private, according to the wishes of the surviving family.

She was 16 years old in 1945 when she was taken away to Okayama, Japan, and forced to become a sex slave. She has been living in the House of Sharing since 2012.

Please join us to remember the Grandma Ahn, Jeom-soon who recently passed away in Korea.
