Welcome NCCK's New General Secretary Rev. Dr. Lee Hong-jung

Dear Friends,
It is a pleasure to welcome Rev. Dr. Lee Hong-jung, our newly elected General Secretary of NCCK. He is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK) and served as the General Secretary of PCK.


Rev. Dr. Lee was the Executive Secretary for the Christian Council of Asia (CCA) and the Vice Chairman of the NCCK International Committee. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the World Communion of Reformed Communion (WCRC).

Rev. Dr. Lee, in his inauguration, said, "The struggle of faith for a just world today calls for the spirituality and strategy of healing and reconciliation through repentance and forgiveness as well as courage for love and peace." He committed to improving the life and mission of the Korean Church saying, "I will contribute to building a new hope with the double face cross: one is for unity and renewal of the Korean churches and the other for the healing, reconciliation and peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula."

We are honored to have all of our global partners' support as NCCK continues to work for peace and justice in the Korean peninsula, in Asia, and around the world.
