DAY 38 Prayer for Peaceful Reunification

새터민 청년•대학생들이 남한의 청년•대학생들과 화합하게 하옵소서.

사랑의 하나님, 이 땅에는 분단 후 3세대에 이른 젊은이들이 분단세대가 되어 살아갑니다. 이들 청년•학생들이 평화 통일을 이룰 통일세대가 되게 하옵소서. 이들이 하나가 되는 꿈을 꾸게 하시고, 민족을 위해 함께 일할 일꾼이 되게 하옵소서. 소통하지 못하며 사는 남북의 청년•학생들에게 소통의 길을 열어 주옵소서. 서로 다른 환경 속에서 자라난 이들이 하나님의 은혜 안에서 화합하게 하옵소서. 

화해의 하나님, 특별히 북에서 남으로 온 젊은이들을 위하여 기도합니다. 새터민 청년•학생들에게 평화 통일을 이룰 지혜와 용기를 더하여 주시옵소서. 이념과 체제가 다른 사회에서 교육을 받은 이들과 서로 배려하고 화합을 이루게 하시옵소서. 젊은이들이 서로의 말에 귀를 기울여 경청하게 하시옵소서. 이들이 북과 남의 장단점을 바로 보게 하시며, 평화통일을 매개하는 귀한 자원이 되게 하옵소서. 새터민 청년•학생들이 화합의 일꾼이 되게 하시옵소서. 예수 그리스도 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

May there be unity among young South Koreans and young North Korean refugees.

Loving God, a third generation of young people now live in the age of division. May these young people and students be the generation that achieves reunification. May they dream of unity, as they work together for the nation. Open the way for the younger generation to communicate with each other along the borders. May those who grew up in different circumstances be united as one through your grace.

God of reconciliation, we pray especially for young persons who have come from the North. Give the young student refugees the wisdom and courage to work for peaceful reunification. May those educated under different ideological climates and socio-political systems care for and accept one another. Let the young people listen to each other, seeing the positives and negatives of both the North and the South. May they make valuable contributions to mediate peaceful reunification. May the young refugees work toward reconciliation and unity.
